York wins new Tourism award

York MinsterThe city of York has once again won another award proving its place as one of the UK’s top tourist destinations. This time the accolade was for ‘Best Destination in the UK for a Group Visit’.

The award was given to the city by Group Travel Organiser magazine and voted for by their readers. York beat stiff competition from popular destinations London and Blackpool.
