Beach lovers heading to the Great Yorkshire show will get a treat as a man made beach will be heading to this year’s show.
Around ten tonnes of sand is to be transported over 60 miles from the beaches of Scarborough to the show’s location in Harrogate.
This ambitious attraction will not surprisingly be the first ever beach at the Great Yorkshire Show and has been organised by Welcome to Yorkshire as part of their exhibit.
Traditional seaside activities will be held at the exhibit including donkeys, candy floss and a Punch and Judy show.
England’s premier agricultural show, the Great Yorkshire show, is a three day event that runs from Tuesday 12th July to Thursday 14th July and is a great event to visit if you are in the region with your Yorkshire pass visiting some of the top Yorkshire Attractions.
