If you are heading to York with your Yorkshire Pass to see some of the great York Attractions between the 21st and 22nd of May, why not head to Malton for the 2011 Malton Food Festival.
This year’s event takes place in the town’s historic market place and will see up to 90 stalls displaying the best of the region’s locally produced food and drink.
Some of Yorkshire’s most admired and loved chefs will conduct displays to the crowds, showing how they can use local produce to make gourmet regional and international dishes.
There will also be two special cookery stages that will showcase the talents of a host of guest chefs from around the region and the UK.
At just over a 30 minute drive from the city of York, Malton isn’t far if you interested in exploring Yorkshire. Plus, there are two other Yorkshire attractions nearby, Eden Camp and Wolds Way Lavender, which you could tie in a trip to with your visit to the Malton Food Festival.
