Sunday 8th of May sees the return of the annual Spring Plant Fair to Newby Hall and it could well be one of the most colourful yet!
This exciting, and not to mention popular, plant fair is attended by a wide range of over 20 specialist nurseries from the north of England. As usual the stalls will be selling not only old favourite plants but also more unusual plants that are unavailable elsewhere. Nursery staff will also be around to help with advice for the new and experienced gardeners the fair tends to attract.
The hall itself is famously set in 25 acres of beautiful gardens, which include one of the largest double herbaceous borders in Europe. The gardens themselves are designed in a way that their at their best for the whole year, meaning no matter when you visit Newby Hall your always in for a treat.
