If you are heading to York with your Yorkshire Pass over the last weekend in May (28th and 29th May) then you are in for a treat. The mini Food and Drink festival is being held and is sure to be a great event for food lovers visiting the area.
This offshoot of the York Food festival that occurs in September is bound to be a great event. The festival will mainly be highlighting and celebrating local seasonal produce and especially the local Asparagus.
There will be a demonstration area with hourly performances and tastings from local chefs and food experts. Come and taste the best of local cheese, beer, meats, cakes and delicacies.
Why not tie in a trip to the Mini Food Festival with some of the other great York attractions in the city like DIG or the York Minster.
