
Two fantastic sculptures on loan from the Yorkshire Sculpture Park will be on show at this year’s Great Yorkshire Show.
Both sculptures are very unique and are bound to attract much interest. One sculpture named Crawling, created by British Sculptor Sophie Ryder, has the head of a hare and the body of a human on all fours. The other named Heros de Lumiere, created by Polish Sculptor Igor Mitraj features a giant bust with the top half missing.
Visitors will find the sculptures that weigh a combined 14 tonnes on display on the President’s lawn and is significant as it is the first time that sculptures have been on display at the show.
The great Yorkshire Fair is one of the top events on the Yorkshire calendar and is definitely worth visiting if you are in the region visiting all the top York attractions with your Yorkshire pass.
