Kid friendly Deer Shed festival being held in North Yorkshire

Deer stock festivalHave you always wanted to visit a kid friendly music festival? Are you heading to Yorkshire with your Yorkshire Pass this July? Well there is some good news, as the Deer Shed festival is being held in Baldersby Park in Topcliffe, North Yorkshire between the 22nd and 24th of July and they pride themselves on being child friendly.

Set in beautiful North Yorkshire parkland, the Deer festival combines great music, arts and kids entertainment in such a way that they have been nominated for “best new festival” at the UK festival awards.

This year’s bands include I Am Kloot, The Go! Team, Caitlin Rose and The Leisure Society, with most performing on the Saturday, the main music day.

Unfortunately your Yorkshire Pass doesn’t get you into the festival, but there are plenty of Yorkshire attractions in the nearby area you could visit once you’re in the area. The Mansion House, Byland Abbey, Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal are all located relatively close to where the Deer Shed festival is being held.
