One of the top Yorkshire attractions and landmarks, Castle Howard, will play host to the start of a fundraising charity event for the Marie Curie Cancer Nurses at the end of July.
The Walk Ten event will take place at Castle Howard on the 31st of July and will see participants walking a 10km route, starting at 6.30pm then enjoying an entertaining evening consisting of food and fireworks at a stately home near Malton.
The event is to raise money and awareness for the hard working Marie Curie nurses that provide care for terminally ill patients. The walk is expected to finish around 10pm which is significant as that is the time the nurses start their evening shifts.
Castle Howard is one of the many Yorkshire and York Attractions you can visit with your Yorkshire Pass.
