Antique lovers heading to York around the end of July are in for a treat. The hit BBC One show Antiques Roadshow will be filming at the Yorkshire Museum on Thursday the 28th July. The hit Sunday night show is filming its 34th series and presenter Fiona Bruce will be hosting for a fourth year.
Those that bring items to the event will be able to receive free valuations and advice from some of the UK’s leading experts. So if you have a family heirloom or suspected bargain you have always wondered about then why not take it along and satisfy your curiosity.
The shows editor Simon Shaw has said “The team are all looking forward to visiting York. It’s always exciting to see what will come to light on the day”.
Whether you would like to have an item looked at or just enjoy the show itself, this is a fantastic opportunity that shouldn’t be missed. Although entry to the show will be free on the day, there is nothing to stop you buying a Yorkshire Pass and visiting some of the other top York Attractions in the area.
