Reality television has highlighted people from all walks of life who are interested in a variety of subjects and hobbies and this is set to continue with a new ITV series, ‘The Choir that Rocks’.
Amateur singers from Yorkshire are set to star in the new three part documentary series as they prepare for a giant concert at Wembley Arena that will see all 8,000 members from the Rock Choir organisation together for a performance.
Rock Choir are a surrey based organisation that is made up of groups of choirs and groups around the country that meet on a weekly basis to sing various types of music.
This is the second time in recent months that Yorkshire has been highlighted on prime time TV, with another ITV series “The Dales” proving popular and encouraging visitors to the area.
The series will start on Thursday 16th on ITV1 at 9pm.
No doubt the series will encourage many to try out choir singing and visit Yorkshire Attractions such as York Minster where choir performances are often held.
